Wow I really like that track!
Really like the guitar parts in the intro and other parts of the track. And as a whole it sounds really organic. Even when the electronic elements and the four to the floor kick parts.
Really like the vocoder!!
And like how you used the vocal. With the slower tempo and the doubling up later on.
Amazing how you got the vocal slow without it having any artifacts.
The synth coming in around 35sec and the vocoder reminded me of I Monster (are you secretly them?)
Nothing really to remark as critical point, maybe that on a first listen I thought drum fill and drums near the end made me realize it are actually quite big rock drums underneath. And what I liked about the track untill that point was it’s laidback meandering qualities. But on repeated listens it sounds pretty good to me and gives it a nice finale!
This is the result of our collaboration, we hope you like it! Diana created some chords and riffs, me the drums and the bass and we both looked for the right arrangement.We used splice to work on the project with Live.
As for the tracks of the guys: I liked the mixing of electronic and rock in the track of Bill and Tom, it’s not my style, quite elaborate track, Great job!
I liked Brent and Sam’s jungle / drum & bass track, very fluid and well arranged, this sound took me back to a rave !! Good job!
Brent & SimpleSam, love the IDM. Anything with AMEN break is cool by me.
Especially like the tight drum & bass drops after the 2:30 mark!
Diana & Emanuele, really great synth sounds, dig the after touch on the bass.

@SimpleSam, thx for the “organic” comment! Organic was exactly what we discussed about experimenting adding live drums to the electronic track! The synth coming in at :35 was the classic Oberheim SEM, so I wouldn’t be surprised if used on many other tracks.
Lol, Xines (drummer from the band Switchtense) was kind enough to meet over lunch break and knock out a few takes. Really an odd mash-up! but a great drummer
I really like your track! Cool use of the vocal with the rhythmic snippets.
The arp is real nice on the background. And like the sounds overall. The synth and the pitchbendy bass for instance coming in around 1:15.
Love the higher sounding bit around 2:15 with the breakdown after it and the arp then coming in to build it up again.
